Dear Orion Township Residents,

In the case we have not met, my name is Matt Pfeiffer, and I'm your Orion Township Trustee. Orion Township has been my cherished home for nearly my entire life. Orion Township is where I raised my family, volunteer, and operate a small business. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our current Treasurer, Kim Urbanowski, is not running for Township Treasurer. She has done an excellent job as our Treasurer, and I am humbled to have her endorsement and support for my campaign. I plan to continue the work that she and her staff have started. They run a very efficient department. 

As a seasoned small business owner, I have honed my skills in financial management, meeting deadlines, and strategic planning. These are all crucial aspects of the Treasurer's role, and I am well-equipped to carry out these responsibilities effectively. 

My parents taught me from an early age to give back to the community by volunteering. I founded North Oakland Strong and Real Men of Orion and have been involved in many other charitable organizations and community groups. When someone comes to the Treasurer's Office, there is a good chance I will know them by name, and I look forward to helping all citizens with any questions or concerns they have.
